A Child's
Prayer
Thomas L. Knapp
Her faith
defies the limits
Of human
comprehension.
She believes
that God will change
If she
to Him but mention.
With a
faith the size of Everest
And a body
the size of an ant,
She believes
God's power is limitless
And there's
nothing He just can't.
Mountains
are moved.
The cloudless
sky rains.
The dead
or dying raised.
A little
child just prayed.

All of
Me
Thomas
L. Knapp
Harvest
Crusade, Bethel Baptist Church, Georgetown, IL
10/21/2008
I was once
a slave
To fortune
and fame.
I'd hopelessly
covet my will.
Then Jesus
came
Took my
cares to the cross.
Now I just
trust in His name.
All of
me,
Jesus,
take all of me
My mind,
my emotions, My will.
Whatever
I have
I give
unto thee.
Jesus,
take all of me.
In The
Realms of the Faithful
Thomas
L. Knapp, Sr.
I once
was decrepit, a sinner by choice,
And hopelessly
lost in my sin.
Then Christ
came, redeemed me and set my soul free.
The price
paid, over death I might win.
In the
realms of the faithful,
Over there
in those mansions so fair,
I shall
dwell with my Savior
And forever
His Glory I'll share.
I fail
often in my service to Him,
Not keeping
my eyes on the goal.
But He
is forgiving. His mercies are great.
Confessing,
my fellowship renewed.
O friend
won't you come to the Savior.
On Calvary
He died for you too.
His blood
is sufficient to cleanse all sin
Of the
world and that includes you.
Behold
On Yonder Mount
Thomas
L. Knapp
Behold
on yonder mount!
Shepherds
watching flocks by night.
Suddenly
the angels appear.
O what
a glorious light!
They announce
the Savior's birth.
Come and
see this blessed sight!
Shepherds
came and worshipped
At the
Saviors birth.
Praising
God in Heaven
For His
wondrous gift.
Behold
on yonder mount!
Three crosses
stand against the sky.
Suddenly
the sky is darkened
And the
earth violently quakes
As earth
morns the Savior's death.
O what
a sorrow filled night!
Friends
betrayed and left Him
To suffer
death alone.
Others
scorned and mocked Him.
He bore
the cross alone.
Behold
on yonder mount!
While soldiers
watch His tomb
Suddenly
the stone rolls back
For he's
no longer there.
Angels
say that He's alive.
He rose
up from the grave.
Friends
gather about Him
Rejoicing
at His life.
Pledging
their allegiance
To take
His word to all.
He was
born to die.
Died to
rise again.
Rose to
come again
On yonder
mount.

But By
My Spirit*
Thomas
L. Knapp
Gideon
had ten thousand
To fight
a great enemy.
But God
said, "That's too many,
Three hundred's
all you need."
Not by
might, nor by Power,
But by
my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
As Joshua
faced the city.
A great
wall stood between.
God said,
"March around it."
The wall
fell. What a scene!
Not by
might, nor by Power,
But by
my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
God was
not in the earthquake,
Not the
fire nor mighty wind.
He was
in the still small voice,
Elijah's
confidence to win.
Not by
might, nor by Power,
But by
my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Gideon
and three hundred,
Joshua
and the wall,
Elijah
and the still small voice,
But God
had taught them all:
Not by
might, nor by Power,
But by
my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
When you're
facing some great challenge
And your
foe's about to win,
Look not
for might nor power
But for
His Spirit instead
Not by
might, nor by Power,
But by
my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Amazing
Hope*
Thomas
L. Knapp, Sr.
Amazing
hope, O blessed hope
Of unseen
things to be.
Amazing
hope, O blessed hope
Tis a surety
to me.
The streets
of gold, the jasper walls
The gates
all made of pearl.
I long
to walk those streets
It’s blessings
to unfurl.
The Bible
saints, the church’s greats
And friends
I long to see.
We’ll talk
on forever.
What a
reunion that will be.
The savior’s
face, His gentle voice
The light
of glory’s store.
We’ll sing
His praise forever
On that
blessed peaceful shore.
Come To
Jesus With A Song*
Thomas
L. Knapp
When you
get downhearted
And the
trials seem O so long.
Put cares
behind you.
Come to
Jesus with a song.
A song will
lift your spirit.
A song
will sooth your soul.
A song
will lift your burden.
A song
will make you whole.
Discouragement’s
defeated,
Depression
just fades away.
Burden’s
there are lifted,
When beside
the Cross we stay.
Darkness
cannot prosper
Where the
Light of Christ abides.
Evil flees
in terror
Where the
Word of God resides.
When darkness
seems to conquer
And discouragement
a curse.
Lift your
voice to Jesus
And sing
another verse.
